Some of the holes were originally done on JNUG. It was halfway through designing the course that I switched to JNSE, and didn't come back to it until Pebble Beach was finished. I wanted to get Pebble Beach done before the start of the Open. Designing on JNSE sure is a lot more work, as there are more colors to choose from, more objects to place and much more test playing required to make sure that the slopes are not so steep that the ball rolls all over the place. The new "play while designing" feature is great. Another equally useful improvement over JNUG is the "scissors" feature; it makes drawing backgrounds and objects so much easier. BP Forest is a relatively short course. Being able to fade or draw the ball well is important. As the name of the course implies, there are many trees, and some of them will get in your way. Let's hope that they just get in your way slightly - and rarely. I borrowed an object that I think is one of the finest I've seen on any course. You can't miss it. Thanks, Ted Maiden.
