The Champion Course for JNSE by Dave Dykeman June 1992 This JNSE course was prompted by the 1992 PGA Seniors' Championship,a copy of the 1992 PGA Seniors' Championship Magazine , my recent purchase of JNSE , notes on Prodigy, and my brother (the golfer). I originally wanted to create as accurate a rendition as possible. However, I soon realized I simply didn't have enough information to do justice to the real course, The Champion Course at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I have tried to maintain a feel for the original, while still doing it my way. I hope that Tom Fazio, the designer, and Jack Nicklaus, who reworked the course, don't mind. Most of the objects are either original or so altered as to be unrecognizable by the original designer. The small golden bush came from Lee Ritze's Augusta (it changed color when imported), one of the palms is nearly stock, and the bench/ballwasher is on every JNSE course. (Well it seems like it !) I hope you enjoy playing this course. It isn't as difficult as some JNSE courses I have tried but it is certainly not as easy as some either. Although it can give that impression for the first few holes. Don't let it lull you to sleep. I'd like to thank Lee Ritze ,especially, and all those designers and golfers on Prodigy for the help and design advice. I hope you all will let me know what you think of this, my first, design effort. I can be reached at Prodigy ID: SVDV02A or send a note to : Dave Dykeman Pawling,NY 12564 (I'll get it. I work at the Post Office.)
