Course Name : Chapelon Hill G.C. Course Designer : Mike "Cheese $hark" Vos Design Date : 10/01/92 Design Philosophy : Recreational Golf Course Suitable for Tournament Play Special thanks to : Phil McCloud, Scott Chesney, Lee Ritze, and of course myself for object design. Also thanks go out to Jim "Revery" Matthews for his background. Now on to the boring stuff .... This course was designed for the beginner and expert alike, The thick woods and liberal use of hazards (Trees,Water, Sand and Deep Rough) will make this course enjoyable to look at as well as to play. The tight fairways lined with trees, make this course a shotmakers dream. It will penalize you for a bad shot but at the same time will reward you for a good one. The course is fairly short (6741 yds from the Championship tees). But is challenging none the less. All of the par 5's are under 570 yds. (2 under 550) and are possible to reach in two with two above average shots. There is even a reachable par 4 (296 yds) if you really feel lucky. Good luck to all in playing this course.
