My two favorite type of golf courses are those that wind through the mountains and those that border the coast. Thus, in this design I tried to provide the golfer with the taste of both. You start out along the coast then climb into some rouged terrain. Each hole offers the golfer a unique challenge that must be overcome. For example on one par 5 dogleg left it will be almost impossible to reach the bend off the tee unless there is a strong tail wind. Thus, the bold may attempt a well placed punch shot through some sparsely placed trees at the corner to set up a short approach. The less daring may elect to play it safe by going around them, but this route will result in a long approach. In the mountains one has to take care not to end up with an impossible uphill shot. Should one find himself in this situation it may be more prudent to chip away from the pin before shooting for the green. Its not impossible to shoot under par, but it will require well placed shots on about every hole. Good luck. David Stevens 71035,433
