At his peak, Ben Hogan would spend late Winter and early Spring each year at Seminole preparing for his first competitive appearance of the year -- at The Masters. Seminole is a wide open and highly manicured course, with its major challenges coming from the predominant southeasterly wind and 200+ bunkers. Because of the course's open nature, Seminole is probably likely to yield better scores than any of my previous creations. Given the limitations of flat terrain and the flat Florida horizon, however, I believe you'll find Seminole as visually appealing as any I've made. I put alot of effort into building the surrounding holes that are visible from each given hole on the course. The other nearby greens and tees are an important and beautiful part of the views available throughout Seminole. I hope you like the effect. I got the idea of modeling adjacent holes from the great Spyglass course by Scott Chesney and Neil Bonner, and tried to carry that idea a step further in terms of physical accuracy. Thanks for downloading Seminole...I hope you enjoy it.
