Course Name: Winged Foot Source : World Atlas of Golf, America's Greatest Golf Courses JNUG Design: By Alan Pajari (aka Ally) --------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT THE COURSE: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Winged Foot golf course located in Mamaroneck, New York, was opened in 1923, and was designed by A.W. Tillinghast. The course has hosted four U.S. Opens, the last in 1984, won by Fuzzy Zoeller. This course is not easy to score on, some of the par fours are incredibly long starting with the first hole that can be as long as 500 yards+, the bunkers are deep and the greens tough. The par is what the members play it, instead of par 70 as the Open is, but I think you'll still find it tough to break par. I stole most of the objects, so thanks to whomever designed them in the first place, the large tree is my favorite object ever, the background is a Pajari original, as I find it easier to create my own background with the new JNSE then the old game. If you happen to have my JNUG version of this course, you will find this course completly different, this time I had more information about the course. I hope you find this course interesting, and enjoyable, I hate to have to think you wasted your D/L bucks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I welcome constructive comments and encourage feedback on the quality of my design efforts.
