Notes on Red Maple Bluffs (WWWLW_02.ZIP): Course Difficulty: 3/5 Course Designer: William White This course adheres to the rules of "WorthWhile Courses for Jack Nicklaus Unlimited Golf," which can be found in the file WRTHWHLE.TXT. Hints and holes of note: Hole 5: Use the "V" option to take a look at pin position before you take your shot. Hole 7: Crossing the river isn't hard, but the hidden puddles may make you think twice. Definite birdie hole, if not eagle. Hole 8: You may be tempted to keep left off the tee, but the hole is easier from the middle to right of the fairway: there are no trees to block your way. Hole 9: You go short off the tee and you're up against a wall; long, and you're all wet. Get about 250-260 yards and you're all set. Hole 17: If you're a risk taker, grab an iron instead of a wood for the second shot and try to go over the birches. Use the overhead view to calculate yardage. It works some of the time. Hole 18: Don't get stuck too close behind the first red tree or your looking at a double-bogie! Keep left! Some other courses which follow the WorthWhile rules: WWWLW_01.ZIP: Harkness Memorial. Difficulty 2/5 as published. If this one's too easy for you, put some slope in the greens to toughen them up. WWWLW_03.ZIP: Volcano Villa. Difficulty 4/5. Have a blast hitting a little ball all over a dormant volcano.
