README.TXT file for "Mantis vs. WCII" comparison

This archive should contain two files:

      README.TXT        This file, ASCII format
      M_VS_WC2.WP5      A comparison of Mantis and Wing Commander II in
                        WordPerfect v5.1 format.

Although the comparison has been rendered in WordPerfect format, it is set up
for maximum compatibility with whatever system you choose to view it: it is
formatted for an HP Laserjet II with the Courier 10 cpi typeface.  Ugly, but
transportable and easily converted for other word processors (or even plain
text).  You could print it on an IBM Proprinter and not worry about losing
formatting (I always hated text files that printed poorly because I didn't
have whatever fancy hardware was used to create it.  THINK A LITTLE, willya?)

I, the author of the comparison, am in no way affiliated with either Origin
Systems (the publisher of Wing Commander) or MPS Labs (the publisher of
Mantis).  I own original, store-bought copies of both games and all their
accouterments.  (What I'm trying to say is that I don't have a bias for or
against either program).
