INTERCEPT AT KURSK

On May 22 1943, as part of the prelude to
Operation Citadelle, the Luftwaffe sent
170 bombers in to knock out the rail
terminal supporting the Russian defensive
preparations.  Fighters from the 101st
Fighter Air Division intercepted the
German bombers on the approaches to Kursk
and engaged them.

MISSION

Prevent the Fascist bombers from
destroying the rail terminal at Kursk.
Consider this mission a failure if more
than 3 buildings are destroyed in the
rail yards.

NOTES

This is a day mission.
