GROUND ATTACK AT RODOLYAN

On the 6 of July 1943, the second day of
the massive German attack at Kursk, the
16th Air Army launched massive airstrikes
against the advancing German forces.  One
of these was an attack by over 450
planes.  These came from the 2d Guards
Ground Attack Division, the 299th Ground
Attack Division and the 6th Mixed Air
Corps.  These units hit the Germans in
the vicinity of Rodolyan and Soborovka.

MISSION

As a PE-2 section leader in the 299th
Ground Attack Division, you are to halt
the German advance in the vicinity of
Rodolyan.  You must destroy at least 4
"tanks" (individual flak guns) in the
target area.  Destroy any other targets
as well.  Expect stiff enemy resistance.

NOTES

This is a normal day mission.
