DUSK RAID NEAR KHARKOV

During the drive on Kharkov, the Soviets
launched raids on German airfields to
lessen opposition.  On 4 August 1943, 12
IL-2s with an escort of eight Yak-1s
attacked a German airfield in the
Mikoyanovsk area.  Backed by careful
reconnaissance, the raid took place at
dusk, destroying 15 aircraft parked at
the field and a fuel-storage area.

MISSION

You are to destroy all the parked Fascist
aircraft at the target airfield,
regardless of losses.  If possible,
destroy other targets in the area.  The
mission is only a success if all parked
aircraft are destroyed.  Be alert for
fighter opposition.

NOTES

This is a dusk mission, use SUNSET.PAC
copied over the VGA.PAC file for maximum
historical accuracy.
