RAID ON ANAPA

On May 26th, 1943, Major A.A. Doroshenkov
of the 43rd Fighter Air Regiment led a
dawn strike against the Luftwaffe
airfield at Anapa, which was the major
German airfield in the Kuban.  The daring
strike force consisted of six Yak-7b
fighters, and it destroyed nine German
aircraft.  The importance of this mission
was that it demonstrated that the VVS
could, in fact, strike back at the
Luftwaffe successfully.

MISSION

You are to lead you group of six Yak
fighters against the airfield and destroy
all of the parked aircraft.  Don't forget
that this is deep within German lines, so
you'll need to hit and run.

NOTES

This is a dawn attack, so utilize
SUNSET.PAC copied into VGA.PAC for
maximum accuracy.
