DESTRUCTION OF ARMY GROUP CENTER

The crushing Soviet Summer Offensive of
1944 had the Germans reeling backwards in
full retreat.  During June 28 to June 30
1944, the Russians flew 3,000 sorties in
an effort to interdict the German
retreat.
Waves of Shturmoviks from the 4th and
16th Air Armies attacked the Germans as
they retreated across the Berezina River
near Minsk.

MISSION

Destroy the bridge to cut off the
retreating Germans and at least 2
buildings in the next target area
and 5 "armored vehicles" (represented
by the individual flak guns around the
target).  The retreating Germans must
not be allowed to escape!

NOTES

This is a normal day mission.
