"FREE HUNT" NEAR ORSHA

On June 23, 1944, pilot G. Lobov, Hero of
the Soviet Union, was flying on a "free
hunt" with his wingman in a "para" (two
plane) formation.  Suddenly they
encountered 4 FW190s.  The combat that
followed involved alternating upward and
downward spirals, and Lobov claimed two
Focke-Wulfs.  To destroy the enemy, Lobov
avoided combat in diving maneuvers, and
strove instead to catch the FW190s the
moment they recovered from a dive.

MISSION

Engage the Fascist FW190s.

NOTES

This is a normal day mission.  Be aware
that the La-7 was frequently mistaken for
a FW190, and since in the game they have
the same external graphics with different
colors, you need to take care that you
don't down your wingman.
