Captain Sheet Score Input ========================= To begin, select the bowler that is to have string scores entered by moving the menu cursor via the +/- or cursor arrow keys to the desired bowler's name and pressing the "Enter" or "Return" key. Once a bowler has been selected, BowlStat will display an input cursor under column 1 in the panel and display the following at the bottom of the screen: ΙΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝ» Ί Max String = 300. Max Series = 900. Max HNM = 100 Ί ΘΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΌ As the individual string scores are entered, BowlStat will automatically calculate the bowlers total series, teams total pinfall (GROSS and NET) and team points. Also, BowlStat will move the input cursor to the next string column. To indicate: o to use a bowler's average, press the "Enter" or "Return" key with no score. BowlStat will automatically insert the bowler's current average into the input field. o to input a modified average for a bowler, enter "avg" or "+" immediately after the string score ("115avg" or "115+"). o to record no score press "-" and the "Return" or "Enter" key, BowlStat move the cursor to the input field. o a "High No Mark" (for Candle/5 Pin games), enter "HNM" or "." immediately after the string score ( "98HNM" or "98."). Once all the scores for both teams have been entered, press the "ESC" (escape) key. BowlStat will display the following prompt: ΙΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝ» Ί (A)bort or (P)rocess (A/P): Ί ΘΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΌ If a mistake has been made , press the "A" and the "Enter" or "Return" key to return to the Main Menu. Otherwise, press "P" and the "Enter" or "Return" keys to process the scores that have been entered. As the scores are being proceesed, BowlStat will display the associated bowler names in the message area at the bottom of the screen. Notes: BowlStat will use a bowler's average when calulating team pinfall. The Defaults editor has numerous settings that contol the operation the the Captain Sheet Input mode.
