Q:   Does TeleMagic work with "Automatic Number Identification" or "Caller
     ID"?


A:   "Yes.  There is an add-on product called "ACTIVATE" by Datasource that
     allows TeleMagic to use "Caller-ID" or "ANI" (Automatic Number
     Identification) and does not require any modifications to TeleMagic. 
     
     "If Caller ID service is available from your local telephone company,
     then you need ACTIVATE, the link to TeleMagic.  Activate lets the
     computer tell you who's calling BEFORE you answer the phone!

     "ACTIVATE is the new Caller ID software from DATASOURCE that will give
     you complete control over your incoming phone calls.  

     "ACTIVATE lets you begin execution of any DOS program, and allows
     configuration of the incoming Caller ID information into ANY format
     you need for your application.

     "This means that now you can bring the Caller ID information (phone
     number, time, date, etc.) into your database, word processor, or
     spreadsheet program so you can process the call immediately before you
     answer the phone.

     "For example, with ACTIVATE installed...  When the phone rings,
     ACTIVATE can automatically load TeleMagic and have it find the
     database record with the caller's name and information.  Now you know
     who is calling, and your computer is ready for data entry when you
     pick up the phone.

     "ACTIVATE version 2.2 Features include:
               * Callers can be instantly identified.
               * Works on all MS DOS based computers.
               * Special functions for macro executions.
               * Works with COM1 through COM4.
               * Complete formatting of Caller ID information.
               * Small TSR approximately 5k of RAM.
