(June 22, 1992) - A new version of the PlotIt scientific and engineering
graphics software system - PlotIt 2.0 for DOS and a variety of mini and
mainframe operating systems - is now available from Scientific Programming
Enterprises of Haslett, Michigan. PlotIt is designed to give scientists,
researchers and engineers virtually unlimited power to transform their
complex data into accurate, easy-to-understand charts and graphs for more
effective analysis. PlotIt 2.0 for DOS includes these major new features:

. Reads dBASE (.DBF) database files, Excel (.XLS) and Lotus
  1-2-3 (.WKS) spreadsheet files, and ASCII files directly
. FastFont technology: Provides high-quality outline fonts
  and gives you access to thousands of third-party fonts 
. Enhanced autoscaling capabilities
. Greater parameter flexibility: save current parameter
  settings directly into configuration file as new defaults
. New Compose/Edit feature lets you compose multiple graphs

PlotIt 2.0 for DEC/VAX, IBM, Prime, Masscomp, Data General, HewlettPackard,
Sun, Unix and other operating systems includes these new features:

All PlotIt versions let you choose from over 60 2D, 3D and SPQC graph
types. Graphs can be plotted to paper or acetate using most printers.
Interface options include command, menu, mouse, function key or batch. An
On-Line Worksheet simplifies most spreadsheet operations, such as copying,
deleting, filling, moving, sorting, and transforming. The Worksheet also
provides complete statistical analysis functionality. A PlotIt version for
Windows is also available. The DOS version of PlotIt 2.0 is priced at
