Procomp DRAPAK Dynamic Read-Ahead drivers for DCB intelligent SCSI host
adapters now include server-based CD-ROM drive support.

     Procomp USA, Inc. (Cleveland, OH) now includes server-based CD-ROM
drive support in the DRAPAK Dynamic Read-Ahead drivers for its DCB (Disk
Coprocessor Board) SCSI host adapters. A Procomp CD-ROM driver
(procdrom.dsk) for NetWare(R) v3.11 makes a CD-ROM drive on a file server
work like any other read-only NetWare volume. A CD-ROM File Structure
Converter (procdfsc.nlm) creates the necessary files for each disc to
permit this easy mount/dismount access, with full NetWare file system
emulation and a minimum of disc reads upon mounting. It maintains these
files in a server's SYS:/SYSTEM/CD-ROM subdirectory. DRAPAK drivers come
with all Procomp DCB cards.
