Seikosha emulations place its printers head-to-head against IBM, Epson
models, but superior margins put them heads-above with resellers and smart
end users.

     Seikosha America, Inc. (Mahwah, NJ) is now promoting its robust IBM(R)
and Epson(R) printer emulations as an important identifier for the best
applications for its printers. The company is also using these emulations
to help its resellers compete aggressively, since Seikosha generally
offers its resellers better margins.

     "We have to face reality," says Seikosha Marketing Director Wayne
George. "We may be from a company that's been around for a hundred years,
but we just don't have the household names of our competitors. What we do
have is a very reliable, very competitive line of impact printers.

Plus or BP-5780. To emulate an IBM Proprinter X24, choose a Seikosha
LT-20. And to emulate an IBM Proprinter XL24, choose a Seikosha SL-270.

     To emulate an Epson FX-850, choose a Seikosha SP-2000S or SP-2400. To
emulate an Epson LQ-850, choose a Seikosha SL-90 Plus. To emulate an Epson
FX/JX-80, choose a Seikosha SK-3005 Plus. To emulate an Epson LQ-1050,
choose a Seikosha SL-270. To emulate an Epson FX-1050, choose a Seikosha
SP-2415 or BP-5780. And to emulate an Epson FX-286e, choose a Seikosha
SBP-10AI.
