SAN FRANCISCO--May 18, 1992 -- Pioneer Software announced today that Q+E
Database Editor (Q+E) and Q+E Database Library (QELIB) support SYBASE SQL
Server for NetWare which was also announced today. Pioneer Software's Q+E
has been available for the SYBASE SQL Server on Windows and OS/2 since
August 1990. QELIB has been available for the SYBASE SQL Server on Windows
and OS/2 since August 1991.

With the SYBASE SQL Server product running on NetWare, customers can take
advantage of the high performance database to run transaction-oriented

with other heterogeneous systems. Pioneer's multi-database tools provide
end-users and developers with access to SYBASE SQL Server for NetWare from
Windows and OS/2.

Q+E Database Editor (Q+E) is a powerful database front-end tool that allows
users to visually extract, manipulate, and edit database information, and
then integrate the data into any other Windows or OS/2 application. Q+E
Database Library (QELIB) is a common, call-level, interface implemented as
a set of DLLs that provide multi-database connectivity for any development
tool capable of calling a DLL. QELIB makes it possible to build Windows or
OS/2 applications that access multiple databases. Q+E and QELIB support
data stored in SYBASE SQL Server, DB2, Ingres, Oracle, Microsoft SQL
Server, NetWare SQL, EE DBM, XDB, SQL Base, Paradox, Btrieve, dBase, Excel
files and ASCII text files.
