J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of The Rings program, Interplay Productions
announced today the introduction of its next Tolkien release, J.R.R.
Tolkien's The Lord Of The Rings, Volume II: The Two Towers.

As-with its predecessor, The Two Towers sequel brings famed author J.R.R.
Tolkien's epic land of hobbits, elves and ghosts to the computer screen.
In this title, the second in the Tolkien trilogy, this fantastic
role-playing adventure continues where The Lord Of The Rings left off.

computer game-playing audience," said Interplay President, Brian Fargo.
"It's both, an honor and a challenge to mix Tolkien's classic world with
today's advanced technologies. "

The Two Towers story allows players to control a party of benevolent
characters in role-playing adventure as they battle orcs, trolls and
oliphaunts and ultimately come face to face with the mysterious Two
Towers. The Two Towers Clue Book is being released simultaneously with the
game and for a limited time, available free with the purchase of the game.
Designed to stand alone or play as a sequel, the imagery of Tolkien's
Middle Earth comes to life in The Two Towers through colorful animation,
256 color VGA graphics, and a full musical score.

The game is currently available for MS-DOS and will be released for Amiga
this Fall. The Two Towers is available through most major software
