now packaging a complete suite of high-performance software drivers,
comprehensive instruction manual and a SCSI cable with all its SmartCache
Plus controllers. This will provide users with the tools they need for
hassle-free and easy installation of SCSI devices. The price of the
controllers will not change.

The device drivers supplied in the bundle include support for DOS, Novell,
OS/2 and Unix. DPT's software greatly enhances the performance of these
operating systems, especially by allowing 32-bit performance with the EISA
version of SmartCache Plus. The comprehensive instruction manual provides
a systematic, step-by-step routine for the installation for each operating
system, as well as detailed information about the features for the
SmartCache controller. The SCSI ribbon cable will provide connections for
2 SCSI devices.

"Because we've combined all of our high-performance drivers with SmartCache
Plus, our customers now get the entire DPT performance solution all at

SmartCache Plus is the only SCSI controller on the market that can be
configured as both a non-caching and a caching controller. The
entry-level-priced, non-caching configuration is converted to a high-end
caching controller by simply adding DPT's unique plug-on caching module
and up to 16 megabytes of cache RAM to the base controller. An add-on
mirroring module provides support for a software independent array of
mirrored drives. This scalable architecture provides manufacturers and
integrators a complete range of price/performance options, suitable for
systems ranging from standalone workstations and small networks up to
multiprocessor-equipped file servers.

Its scalable architecture, price/performance superiority and industry
standard compatibility have made SmartCache Plus the SCSI adapter of
choice for manufacturers and resellers alike. Computer manufacturers such
as AST, NEC, NCR, Intel, Wyse, Wang, Siemens, ICL/Nokia have standardized
on SmartCache Plus. It is also available from such leading computer
product distributors as Tech Data, Ingram Micro, Merisel and Robec.

DPT will continue to sell its device driver software independently for
users of DPT's noncaching EISA SCSI controller, SmartConnex/EISA, and for
those needing upgrades from older versions of the software. The domestic
and international price for each driver is $80.

U.S. list prices for DPT's SmartCache Plus controllers are $595 for the ISA
version and $785 for the EISA version. International list prices start at
$710 for the ISA version and $940 for the EISA version.
