July 15, 1992 -- Jerry Medlin, of Medlin Accounting Shareware, has been
awarded the Best Business and Finance Software award for 1992, by the
Shareware Industry Association.

The Shareware Industry Association was created to honor the finest
shareware programs and their authors. Awards were presented in 13
categories at an awards banquet in Indianapolis, Indiana in June. The
banquet was held in conjunction with the Summer Shareware Seminar.

Jerry is the author of five accounting programs designed for small to
medium size businesses. His programs are recommended in Dr. File Finder's
Guide to Shareware, and are used in Microcomputer Applications in
Accounting, a college text for teaching computer accounting. The programs
have received rave reviews in many magazines and professional publications
including The Quantum PC Report for CPA's, Shareware Magazine, and
Computer Shopper. Over 20,000 copies of Medlin Accounting Shareware have
been sold worldwide.

Jerry is an active member of the Association of Shareware Professionals,
and has been involved in the shareware industry since 1984. All of Jerry's
programs operate on the principle that an accounting program should avoid
computer terminology, needless restrictions on the user, and glacial
operating speeds. With his programs, simplicity is the key.
