SAN JOSE, CA-AUGUST 13, 1992--Accolade, publisher of the award-winning line
of Jack Nicklaus golf simulations, today announced an October release of
Jack Nicklaus Signature Tour Volume 1 the first add-on disk exclusively
for use with Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design: Signature Edition.
Developed in association with Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus Productions,
the new add-on disk will feature two courses: The Links of Muirfield in
Scotland, site of the recent British Open and the site of Jack Nicklaus'
first British Open Championship and Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio,
site of Jack Nicklaus' annual Memorial Tournament. Jack Nicklaus Signature
Tour Volume 1 is designed to take full advantage of the 256-color VGA
graphics in Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design: Signature Edition. It will
be available for IBM PC and compatible computers at a suggested retail
price of $24.95.

The Links of Muirfield is over 250 years old and well steeped in tradition.
As the site of the recent 1992 British Open, it is a course with a special
meaning to Jack Nicklaus who won his first of three British Open titles
there in 1966. Muirfield is unique in having neither trees nor water on
the course. Small greens, unmerciful bunkers and notoriously thick roughs
make Muirfield one of the most challenging and exciting golf courses in
the world today.

Known for its lush woodlands, Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio brought
fame to Nicklaus as an architect when he designed it in 1966. Some eight
years later, Nicklaus played the first official round on the course and
named it in part as a tribute to Scotland's Muirfield. In 1977, Jack
experienced his "biggest thrill in golf" by winning the tournament on the
outstanding course he created.
