Ample Notice Version 3.0 from Granny's Old-Fashioned Software is  now
available.  The update of this appointments  scheduler/alarm/personal
information manager package adds mouse  support, pull-down menus, and a
more extensive on-line help  system.  An improved category system lets the
user group  appointments and notes by subject or owner with greater ease.

Ample Notice is less restrictive than other calendar programs.   The day is
not broken into 30-minute chunks.  Ranges of calendar  cells can be filled
with ease; for example, a single entry can  schedule an appointment for
every Monday, Wednesday and Friday  from 11/1/92 through 1/15/93.  The
program accommodates a wide  range of date cycles, such as last Monday in
May (Memorial Day),  the day after the first Monday in November (Election
Day), the  third Tuesday of every month, every third week, etc.  Birthdays
 show ages (if desired).

Users can share portions of their calendars with other Ample  Notice users.
 By categorizing appointments by owner, it's easy  to view schedules of
any group of people at one time.

Printouts can be obtained in various styles so that appointments  can be
viewed away from the computer.  An ultra-compressed  listings can be
printed for wallet or purse.  Outdated appoint- ments and other selected
entries can be archived for use in  preparation of taxes, reports, etc. 

System requirements for Ample Notice are: an IBM PC, XT, AT, PS/2  or
compatible computer with 512K RAM, DOS 2.1 or later.  

Ample Notice is sold as Shareware.  The evaluation disk (complete  package
with manual on disk) is available for $5, or the  registered package
(indefinite license, current disk, printed  manual, free update, telephone
support) may be ordered for $35.   These prices include shipping in
