Scientific Word, a full-featured MS-Windows word processor that uses LaTeX
as its native file-storage format, is now available from ARSoftware of

459-3776.  Scientific Word provides graphical viewing and editing of
equations constructed with mouse and/or keyboard input, yet makes more
efficient use of the user's time than other visual object interfaces that
entice the user to manually adjust every graphical parameter of every
equation separately.  Scientific Word's object-oriented interface for
logical design imbues familiar mathematical objects with expected,
intelligent behavior; for example, the numerator and denominator of a
fraction are automatically  centered, and the fraction bar expands as you
type.   Scientific Word avails the user of the full set of large operators
in AMS-TeX.  Users familiar with writing LaTeX macros can add their own
styles to Scientific Word's set of predefined styles.
