a new low-cost computer/video product: TelevEyes, an economical VGA-to-TV
video converter.

The TelevEyes VGA-to-TV converter is now available and is priced at just
$299.95.

The TelevEyes hardware is an external module that connects between the
computer's VGA output and the monitor and outputs a NTSC composite video
signal of whatever is on a VGA screen. It allows users to record their
computer displays on standard VCR video tape, or to view their
computer-created screens, presentations, animations, etc., directly on a
television monitor or composite video large-screen display. The TelevEyes
easy-to-use TSR control software supports computer text and graphics
display modes up to 640x480 and features simultaneous composite and
computer display (on multiscanning monitors), accurate NTSC color mapping,
and flicker-free composite video output.

The device has several market applications: presentation and training in a
classroom environment where a teacher may use a portable PC and a
relatively inexpensive large screen composite monitors or video projectors
instead of expensive, hard-to-see LCD or TFT display panels; making video
tape recordings of computer screens for demonstrations, training videos,
or as a way to take computer-generated applications into a non-computer
environment; and home use, for the varied roles from video titling to
outputting computer games to home TVs.
