Matrix Technology, Inc., has started shipment of its new TwinJet Chaining
Font Cartridges "...because one per slot is never enough!" TwinJet's
unique font cartridges plug into Hewlett-Packard's family of LaserJet
printers, just like HP cartridges do. The difference is that, unlike HP
cartridges and other cartridges, TwinJet's cartridges can chain to each
other or to HP cartridges, enabling the user to install up to three font
cartridges in a single font cartridge slot. With the standard
Hewlett-Packard cartridges, only one cartridge can be used at a time,
forcing a user to remove one cartridge before changing to another... a
time wasting operation with shared printers or printers located away from
the computer. With TwinJet Chaining Cartridges, up to six cartridges can
be used in a two slot printer, resulting in three times as many online
fonts.

The TwinJet library consists of 13 separate font cartridges, each offering
the same fonts as corresponding cartridges in HP's MasterType library. For
example, TwinJet's Professional Collection cartridge contains 65 fonts
that are functionally equivalent to the 65 fonts in HP's ProCollection
cartridge. This HP compatibility enables TwinJet font cartridges to
"plug-and-play" with any software application that supports HP LaserJet
printers and cartridges. As with all TwinJet products, customizing is
available.

"Think of TwinJet and HP font cartridges as building blocks," says David
Beardsley, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "You can assemble the
blocks to get just the right combination of fonts, or TwinJet can create
the cartridge you need. It's easy!" This enables the user to utilize the
cartridges they have already purchased while expanding on their system.
This expandable system takes up little more space than standard cartridges
because the TracJet chaining font cartridge is half the length of a
standard cartridge.

The TwinJet chaining font cartridge is protected by patents and patents
pending with the U.S. Patent Office and the Patent Offices of other
countries. TwinJet Technology is an affiliate of Advanced Matrix
Technology, Inc., an eight-year-old manufacturer of printer products.

Cartridges are competitively priced at about 15% below the recommended
retail price of equivalent HP cartridges, with prices starting as low as
$85.00. TwinJet cartridges are sold by dealers and directly to major
