Industrial computer systems has introduced series of Ruggedizd Rackmount
Industrial computers for harsh environments, process controls and
industrial plan environments, where Organic Solvents, engine oil and acid
water are in constant use. The high grade S/861R fiber optic equipped
systems are ideal for installation in industrial and harsh environments or
in sophisticated workplaces dealing with advanced technology where
security and electrical isolation must be ensured. The systems are
excellent for EMI/RFI immunity and earth isolation.

The S/861R systems range from 80286 to 80486 ISA Bus architecture with
clock speeds of 16 to 40 MHz. The systems include minimum of 2MB Ram,
1.2MB and 1.44 MB Floppy Drive, RS-232C 2 serial/ 1 parallel port, 101
enhanced keyboard, Super VGA and an option of 40MB, 80MB, 120MB or 200MB
IDE shock resistant hard disk drive. 

Admax S/861R rugged systems are the toughest Industrial PCs and
workstations available anywhere.  Each unit includes features as:  Heavy
steel chassis and optional EIA standard fiber-optic interface cabling to
eliminate EMI/RFI problems, 8 or 14-slot passive backplane, single-board
CPU which protects system components from shock and vibration, and a
protective door with security lock to cover the disk drive opening from
dust or foreign objects and unauthorized access.

Additional protective features include a keyboard lock, front panel power
and reset switch, disk activity LED, a shock-isolated mounting panel for
hard drive storage sub-system, an industrial-quality power supply to
provide line filtering with surge suppression, and dual fans to pull air
through a modacrylic filter.
