The dictionaries themselves utilize some of the world's most widely used

words and 210,000 synonyms, respectively. Both are adapted from lexical
references published by Librairie Larousse. The German dictionary of
284,600 words, and its 700,000-synonym thesaurus, are based on lexicons
published by Langenscheidt K.G.
