platforms, announces that its graphics format conversion software,
BIT2BIT, is now available as a Windows application.

BIT2BIT converts raster graphics between popular PC and mainframe formats,
which allows graphics to be printed on a wide variety of printers,
regardless of how the graphic was created. BIT2BIT allows artists and
technical writers to use popular PC graphics design software, electronic
clip art, and PC-attached scanners to create graphics intended for
inclusion in mainframe print applications. In multi-ventor environments,
BIT2BIT allows identical graphics to be produced on data center and
departmental printers.

BIT2BIT accepts input in TIFF, PCX, HP PCL Graphic, Xerox .FNT or .IMG, and
IBM Page Segment formats, and produces PCX, TIFF, HP PCL, Xerox .IMG, IBM
Page Segments, and Encapsulated PostScript. BIT2BIT also allows you to
rotate the image for portrait or landscape printing, shrink the image to
fit the alloted space, or produce a negative image (white on black). With
the new Windows version of BIT2BIT, the user clicks on the appropriate
input and output formats, enters the desired file names, selects the
required percentage of scaling. In just a few seconds the new graphic
format is available.

Prices for BIT2BIT for Windows start at $500. BIT2BIT is also available for
PC/DOS, UNIX/386, and for IBM mainframes running VN or MVS. For more
