NEC ANNOUNCES MULTISYNC 6FG 
GO BIGGER, GO BETTER PROMOTION

Wood Dale, IL, September 1,1992-- NEC Technologies, Inc. today announced
the MultiSync 6FG Go Bigger, Go Better promotion which includes a 60-day
dealer spiff and end-user promotion for the award-winning 21-inch
MultiSync 6FG color monitor. From now until October 31,1992, dealer sales
representatives will earn $75 for every MultiSync 6FG monitor sold to an

Also from September 1 through October 31, NEC is offering a free 6FG
MultiSync Monitor Lens to any end user who purchases a MultiSync 6FG color
monitor. Participants in the promotion will receive their free MultiSync
6FG Monitor Lens within four weeks of placing an order with NEC. For more

MultiSync 6FG

The flat-square 21-inch MultiSync 6FG color monitor provides end users up
to 24 percent more active viewing area than conventional 20-inch monitors.
The MultiSync 6FG color monitor is compatible with multiple MS-DOS and
Macintosh (Quadra) hardware platforms and supports from VGA to 1280 x 1024
resolution at up to 74 Hz. The 6FG color monitor's FullScan feature
provides bezel-to-bezel images. In addition, the MPR II compliant
MultiSync 6FG color monitor has dual dynamic beam focus that delivers
sharper edge-to-edge and top-to-bottom display of detailed screen images.

With the 6FG color monitor's AccuColor Control System, a digital
application-independent color calibration system, users can match
on-screen color to color printer output or any other output device.

The integration of these features makes the 6FG color monitor the perfect
tool for high-end professional applications such as CAD/CAM, color desktop
publishing and large screen graphic applications.

MultiSync Monitor Lens

To give users greater control of their computing environments, NEC offers a
OCLI-coated MultiSync Monitor Lens, designed for improved viewing in
ambient lighting conditions and complements the MultiSync FG color
monitors by increasing the images' contrast while decreasing glare.

Two versions are available--standard tint lenses, made for GUI environments
such as Microsoft Windows and the Apple Macintosh desktop, increase
contrast and reduce glare. Dark tint lenses provide maximum contrast in
areas where the user works near a window or under bright fluorescent
lighting.

The MultiSync 6FG color monitor has a suggested retail price of $2,899 and
the MultiSync Monitor Lens has a suggested retail price of $199. Both
products have a two year limited warranty and are available through NEC's
nationwide network of authorized dealers.
