it has begun shipping MacPETigree 2.0. MacPETigree is a HyperCard stack,
designed for the Apple Macintosh, that is internationally used by
professional breeders and animal owners for maintaining pedigree
information and other detailed animal records. The 2.0 release offers a
simplified on-line help function, and easy-to-use menu system and an
update feature (hard link) for quick duplication of data.

According to Roger Hilbert, a leading international authority on white
German Shepard dogs, "The new version is very easy to use and its
capabilities are greatly expanded. I use MacPETigree to keep track of an
international database consisting of more than a thousand German Shepard
dogs. I plan to create a binary family tree for my new book, tracing the
primary strains to when the breed was founded."

MacPETigree provides an easy way to store and organize pedigree and medical
records, as well as information such as breed, birthdate, litter number,
markings, mates, offspring, and show awards. The 2.0 release automatically
generates binary family trees and provides a simple way to add new
members. Each page of the binary family tree contains five generations,
with no limit to the number of generations that can be recorded.

MacPETigree 2.0 will run on any Macintosh with 512k of memory, system
