The REMOTE-CONSOLE software is a remote access and control system designed
to link two Personal Computers via modem or by direct cable connection. It
provides complete control of the host computer from almost anywhere--the
office next door, across town, or around the world. It can be used to run
vlrtually any program on an unattended host computer from a remote
location. Use it for order entry, remote data base access, customer
training and support, even diagnose hardware and software problems
remotely. It works with all popular LAN's to extend a network node to
where you need it most.

A fast file transfer feature allows the REMOTE-CONSOLE user to link Desktop
5.25" and Laptop 3.5" disk drives to copy files at the blinding speed of
115,200 bps. Huge files can be copied in just seconds. It's faster than
formatting a floppy in most cases.

Remote access and control plus a fast file transfer feature really amounts
to two programs for the price of one. Other important features include
printer redirection, a "chat mode" scratch pad for conversation, "call
back" and "auto-call," unique SHUTDOWN and REBOOT commands to terminate
the host program from a remote site, and two special key combinations, one
to purge ill behaved programs that can lock out the remote user, and
another to refresh the remote screen. A sophisticated password protection
scheme keeps intruders out and safeguards your files. Operation is through
