THE OLD TESTAMENT GOES HIGH-TECH

Testament in a whole new way: by interacting with their home computer.

software program utilizing cutting-edge multimedia technology.

The program, titled The Interactive Old Testament: A Family Multimedia
Adventure, provides a comprehensive, easy-to-use reference of the Old
Testament complete with animation, colorful graphics and sound. The entire
family can study and learn about the Old Testament together; and, a
special Bible Stories section introduces young readers to the Old
Testament. The program, available for IBM-compatible PCs equipped with
Microsoft Windows 3.1 and a CD-ROM drive retails for $79.95.

The Interactive Old Testament is divided into several sections, each of
which can interact with the other sections to provide detailed coverage of
a chosen subject. Some of those sections are:

Scriptures of the Old Testament. Provides the complete text of the Old
testament in the King James Version.

History and Geography. Details the known secular timeline of the era and
how it relates to biblical historical events. Also included is a regional
atlas as well as special essays and maps detailing the economy, political
history, mysteries, culture and music of the region and time. Users are
invited to compare maps and watch animation of the political evolution of
the area.

Bible Stories. A special children's section uses pictures, animation,
narration and music to tell Bible Stories.

Dictionary and Concordance. A comprehensive guide to the terminology and
vocabulary of the Old Testament.

Comparative Religions. Details the differences and similarities between
various theologies including Protestant, Catholic, Jewish and Islamic
views of the Old Testament.
