This registered copy of 4EDIT is version 1.08.  The enclosed printed
manual is current with this version.  A Zipped copy of the latest
Shareware version of 4EDIT is included on this disk.  Feel free to
pass it on to others or to upload it to local BBS.

The BONUS directory on this disk contains a ZIPfile of a French
public domain program that enables EXE files to be substantially
compacted in size, while still running perfectly.  Also included is a
shell program that translates the LZEXE prompts into English.
Documentation on both is included.   4EDIT compresses to less than 30K
Bytes.  On all but the slowest machines, the difference in
performance is unnoticeable.  We think this is outstanding software.
