Course Name: The TPC at Southwind Location : Memphis, Tennessee Source : Video-Tape of CBS Broadcast : Scorecard from the course JNUG Design: Ted Maiden (aka "MAKER") Being a fairly new course, the question of trees came into the formula when I was deciding how to present the course. The video tape showed several good stands of trees, but it also showed a lot of young immature ones, too. There was also the question of how many. I have added many trees to the JNUG design for aesthetic purposes. If the side area is empty or devoid of object, then any view in that direction is also empty and devoid of features. Therefore, there are a large number of trees added to help the view. The video tape did not offer much help on the first eight holes, so you will have to play my imagination on elevations and such. However, I have attempted to give the course the TPC stadium-type open look. Jack shot 81 his first time out. The water kept getting in his way. Apparently, he is not programmed to think about his game. Here's the scorecard.
