THIS BETA RELEASE MAY BE USED WITHOUT CHARGE BY INDIVIDUAL USERS, FOR
NON-COMMERCIAL, BUSINESS OR GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSES, THROUGH DECEMBER 31,
1991.  THEREAFTER, LICENSED COPIES MUST BE PURCHASED FOR CONTINUED
USE BEYOND ANY DESIGNATED EVALUATION PERIODS THAT MAY BE PROVIDED FOR
IN THE OFFICIAL NON-BETA RELEASE.

PRE-RELEASE SITE LICENSES ARE AVAILABLE TO COMMERCIAL, BUSINESS AND 
GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES FOR $10.00 PER COPY, PRIOR TO DECEMBER 31, 1991.
THE MINIMUM SITE LICENSE FEE IS $100 FOR UP TO 10 LICENSED COPIES; A 
MAXIMUM FEE OF $5,000 FOR UNLIMITED LICENSED COPIES.  A MASTER UPGRADE
DISK WILL BE PROVIDED TO EACH LICENSEE, FOR EACH NEW COMMAND-LINE MODULE

			INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
			--------------------


Thank you for trying FlashPoint's Windows ZIP file expansion utility --
FPZIPX.EXE.  This simple command line Windows application has been
designed to test the initial implementation of FlashPoint Development's
Zip/ZipX engine which is designed for incorporation into several Windows
applications planned or currently under development.

FPZIPX is a Windows 3.XX protected mode (standard/enhanced) application,
and cannot be run in real mode.  It may be invoked from your shell's "Run"
task command window, or by any means that can pass the following command
structure:


[drv:][\path\]FPZIPX.EXE [drv:][\path\]filename[.ZIP] [drv:][\targetdir\]



For example, the following command line:

	FPZIPX.EXE ANYZIP

will extract "ALL" files from the designated ZIP file to your "CURRENT"
directory, or

	FPZIPX.EXE ANYZIP C:

will extract all files to the current directory on the C: drive, or

	FPZIPX.EXE ANYZIP C:\UNARC\

will expand all files to the \UNARC directory on the C: drive.


No other options or command switches are implemented in this beta release.
