AIRPORT.TXT

AIRPORT.ZIP gives the geographical coordinates of some 7100 airports
througout the world.  Three file sorts are left zipped. They
contain the same information, but sorted differently.

The record desciptions follow.

Field 1 - Three letter airport designator
Field 2 - City-Airport Name
Field 3 - State, if any
Field 4 - Country
Field 5 - Latitude in degrees and decimal minutes
Field 6 - Longitude in degrees and decimal minutes.
          For instance PDK is 33 degrees, 52.5 minutes north and
          84 degrees, 17.9 minutes west

Because each of the zipped files expands to nearly 526,000 bytes, I
left them zipped so you could decide which one to use.  All three
files have the same data. They differ by sort.

3LETTER is alpha sorted by Field 1
CITY is alpha sorted by Field 2, Field 4 and Field 3
COUNTRY is alpha sorted by Field 4, Field 3 and Field 2
