Setting up Automated Procedures In pcANYWHERE Automated Procedures can be set up for a number of operations including file transfers and DOS commands. To set up Automated Procedures, set up the Host and Remote computers as follows: Host Setup 1. From the Host Main Menu, select "Caller Information" and select (or insert) the caller that will use Automated Procedures. 2. Highlight the "Command to execute" field and enter "AWSEND" 3. Press [Esc] and "Save Changes". 4. Return to the Host Main Menu and select "Begin Host Operation" and "Wait for a Connection" NOTE: The Host must be in "Wait For A Connection" mode for the Automated Procedure to operate correctly. Remote Setup 1. From the Remote Main Menu, select "Automated Procedure" 2. Press the "Insert" key to create a new entry or select an existing Automated Procedure. 3. Select "View/Modify the Procedure" and configure the Automated Procedure (If necessary, consult the documentation for more information on configuring Automated Procedures). 4. Next, select "Execute" the Automated Procedure. Automated Procedures are now configured on both the Host and Remote computers.
