                 SHIVA NETMODEM/E and pcANYWHERE/LAN Setup

The following details how to load the Shiva drivers, use the Chooser program to
select the Netmodem/E and COM ports,  and configure pcANYWHERE/LAN for dial out
capability.

	1)	Install the Shiva drivers per Shiva's instructions.

	2)	At the DOS prompt, type CHOOSER and press enter
		Then select the Netmodem/E units you want to use.
		Chooser makes a SHIVA.INI file which is what is referenced when
		the Shiva driver is used.

	3)	Type SHIVACOM and press enter.
		If the driver is loaded successfully the system displays the
		message:
		SHIVA NETMODEM/E COMMUNICATION DRIVER SUCCESSFULLY LOADED

	4)	In the remote operation of the LAN version setup the hardware
		configuration as follows:

	Device/Port:		NASI/NCSI:  *:*:*
	Modem:			US Robotics V32/V.32bis
	Data Rate:		57600
	Parity:			None
	Flow Control:		RTS/CTS
	Conn. Started by:	Carrier Detect (DCD)
	Conn. Started by:	Carrier Detect (DCD)
