LOTUS'S SMARTPAK

Lotus is shipping SmartPak for 1-2-3 for Windows free of charge to current
users of 1-2-3 for Windows.  The enhancement package, which includes
SmartIcons, GUI application development tools, the Lotus Dialog Editor, and
a host of new features, will be provided in all new units of Lotus 1-2-3 for
Windows, Version 1.1.

SmartPak for 1-2-3 for Windows features include Smartfill, for automatically 
populating a spreadsheet range with commonly used data series; CrossTabs,
for creating a summary table from database information; SmartFormat, for 
cycling through up to ten predefined formats; and a new SmartIcon for printing
graphs in portrait or landscape mode.  The new Application development tools 
include GUI macro keywords that can replace 1-2-3 menus with custom 
application menus.
