   There are many programs on the shareware market that is good.  One I
use often is SHEZ.  There are so many features to it I admit I do not
use all of the features.  I use it for many things.  Example when I
download files from other boards and stick them on my board and the ones
that do not have a FILE_ID.DIZ file inside the ZIP I use Shez to get
inside the compress file and from the docs I can copy and paste from the
docs to the board the file description of the program.

  Shez handles all compression utilities, PKZIP, ARJ, ARC, PAK, LZH, ZOO
and others.  You can tag the files you want to uncompress and tell it
what directory you want to be uncompressed at.
You can compress files, format disks, copy, delete files, delete files
inside zips, convert from one compression utility to another,
execute files within the compress file, scan for virus within the
compressed file and a lot more.  Do not worry about all the different
commands it has for you press "/" key and you get a pull down menu bar
on top with all the commands and beside each command it will have the
short cut keys.  Example the ALT P is extraction path  Alt E is extract
tagged files  Ctrl P is print tagged file.  The following I taken from
the documentation to give you a list of all the features of SHEZ.

I suggest if you use any type of compression program that you download
SHEZ82.ZIP and give it a try.
