ULTRA FAX PROVIDES OCR AND IMAGE CAPABILITIES

The highly competitive Windows fax software market has a new player.  
ULTRA FAX, version 1.0 from ZSoft.  UltraFAX's OCR capabilities let you read
incoming faxes and create editable text files for use with Windows applications
such as word processors and spreadsheets.  It comes with a complete set of
drawing, editing and text annotation tools that let you view a fax, add 
comments, and forward the document without ever making a hard copy.

The package provides image processing capabilities, such as anti aliasing, that
automatically clean up dirty faxes and improve onscreen readability.  
A multiple document viewer offers drag and drop page rearrangement and
merging, document viewing at zoom levels from 10 to 600 percent, and single
page, dual page, or multipage thumbnail views.

UltraFax supports a wide variety of flatbed, sheet fed, and hand scanners,
as well as most fax boards based on the Intel DCA/CAS Class 1 and Class 2 
communications standards.
