Version 2.0 (TrueType)

I hope you'll enjoy this sampling of FRACTION FONTS for Windows. 
But, before you begin to experiment with them, please take time to 
read this brief document.

FRACTION FONTS (TrueType) are intended for use with Windows 3.1. 
If you're still using Windows 3.0 and haven't upgraded to Windows 
3.1, there's no sense going through the installation and calling 
up the info/demo file FF-WTT.WRI. It looks like gibberish without 
the TrueType capabilities of Windows 3.1.


GETTING STARTED  . . . . .

Okay, let's get going. First, what's stored in FF-WTT.ZIP? (That's 
an acronym for Fraction Fonts - Windows TrueType.)

     1.  READ-WTT.TXT -- The ASCII file you're reading.

     2.  FF-WTT.WRI -- A four-page information/demonstration 
     document that shows and tells all about FRACTION FONTS for 
     Windows. Open it in Windows Write after you've installed the 
     True Type FRACTION FONTS.

     3.  Sixteen (16) FRACTION FONTS in TrueType format.

     4.  ORDERWTT.WRI -- Your ticket to a full collection of 
     FRACTION FONTS (66 in all) to match the fonts that have come 
     to be known as the basic "PostScript 35." The complete set 
     costs just $25.00!!!


INSTALLATION  . . . . .

The easiest way to install FRACTION FONTS is to let Windows do it.

     1.  Activate the Control Panel, then double-click on the 
     "Fonts" icon. 

     2.  Click on the "Add..." button, then change to the drive 
     and directory where you've unzipped FF-WTT.ZIP. You should 
     now be looking at the list of available FRACTION FONTS.

     3.  In the "Add Fonts" dialog box you'll see TmsFB, HelvFB, 
     etc. listed in the scroll window. Click "Select all...", then 
     click OK.

     4.  Finally, click "Close," then exit the Control Panel. Your 
     TrueType FRACTION FONTS are now available for all of your 
     Windows 3.1 applications.


INSTRUCTIONS  . . . . .

Instructions for using FRACTION FONTS are in FF-WTT.WRI. Take time 
to open this document, print it out, and play with it on-screen 
before using FRACTION FONTS in your favorite applications.


SHARING FRACTION FONTS  . . . . .

The FRACTION FONTS companions to Helv and Tms is ShareWare. I'd 
appreciate $10.00 as a token of your own appreciation for the 
opportunity to use them. Feel free pass FRACTION FONTS on to a 
friend. All I ask is that you share FF-WTT.ZIP in its entirety. 
This will guarantee other users have access to all of the 
documentation -- and the order form and my address. Knowing your

Also, if you have any MAC-using friends, give them a FRACTION 
FONTS for Windows demonstration. FRACTION FONTS also are available 
in Macintosh format as well as the current Windows format.

As a matter of fact, FRACTION FONTS also are available in 
PostScript Type 1 format for both Windows and the Macintosh. These 
have been generated from the same master outlines, so they'll work 
for anyone who prefers to use Adobe Type Manager and Type 1 fonts.
