This disk demonstrates Bar Code LEM. Bar Code LEM allows you to print bar codes in any of 12 symbologies and 6 densities to most laser or dot matrix printers. This programs includes an installation program that adds bar code support to your existing model files. The demo program on this disk will allow you to test the output using your printer. The included .APP file shows how easy it is to add Bar Code support to your applications. To demonstrate this LEM run BLDEMO.EXE from the enclosed disks. The developer can mix and match different symbologies in the same Designer group, or even on the same line. Bar Code LEM programs can be created entirely within Designer, or easily added to Editor procedures. It is not necessary to use the Editor. Bar Code LEM controls most options through a set of global memory variables. These can be set to change the operation of any program using the SETUP procedure in Designer. A developer can print a bar code by simply placing a calculated field in a report within Designer. You may also call the function directly from a procedure built in Editor. A call to the BARCODE function takes care of all the details of printing the bar code.
