There are two versions available a MS-DOS version (which has been tested with X-Tree-Gold and MS-DOS Shell) and a Windows version (which has been tested with Windows 3.X and X-Tree for Windows). By Associating Document files to Multiple Assoc. instead of a single Executable file you can now associate a single extension with up to 100 different Programs ! This has proven to be an invaluable aid for users, who prefer to use different text editors for different purposes. It also affords users of multiple graphics programs the ability to associate extensions (BMP,PCX,DWG,etc) to all of the programs capable of importing graphics of a given format. Multiple Assoc. even provides convenient access to your printer by permitting you to associate text files with your DOS print command (C:\DOS\Print.Exe). Installation is simple, you just copy the supplied files into a directory named " C:\MENUMARK " and you are ready to go. Again the Directory MUST be named " C:\MENUMARK " !! There is a batch program provided to perform this task for you if you desire [ INSTALL.BAT ]. The Association of a given Extension is done in the customary manner i.e. the Associate command in Windows or DOS-Shell or an appropriately named Batch File in X-Tree for DOS users. You may also specify a default Program to launch a particular document into by leaving one after the name of this program and adding the name of the default program with Drive and Path.
