Gentleman,

I have been informed of new developments in 
fighter technology from our base on Dantooine.
A major upgrade is available through software
modification of existing starfighter combat
computers. (Some minor hardware changes will also
be necessary, but primarily your engineers will
be adjusting the ships computers.) Please forward
this information to the appropriate crew members.

Enclosed please find the top secret instructions
which detail modifications to our current
starfighters.

Note to Starfighter Modification Engineers:

The file "flight.ovl" should be inserted with
care into the x-wing directory. However, be
aware that you should first rename the old
file "flight.ovl" in that same directory. Do
this if you wish to restore the starfighters
to their original factory specifications. Once
you starfighters are modified, inform our pilots
to go after the EMPIRE at once. Time is of the
essence!
