A ministry started by Frank Tamilio, protestant chaplain at MCI-Concord, to help with the spiritual needs of the families and friends of prison- ers. CORE counselors operate on a 7-day a week, 24-hour a day basis to assist troubled youth to monitor their own behavior, to modify negative patterns and facili- tate entry into community programs and activities that will help them stay out of prison. State chapter of the organization started by Chuck Colson to assist churches in ministry with prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families.
