"Richard Moose brings significant experience in both foreign affairs and corporate management to the task of making the State Department work more efficiently. Gordon Linton is a distinguished public servant with an unquestionable knowledge of transportation matters. Louise Stoll has been a leader in both the private and public sectors in managing large endevors. Anne Lewis has a tremendous sense of the concerns of working Americans. Richard Moose, a former Foreign Service, National Security Council, and Senate Foreign Relations Committee staffer, is the senior vice president for international and government affairs at the American Express Company. He previously worked for Sherson Lehman Brothers as managing director of international financial advisory activities from 1985-88, and as a senior advisor to Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb from 1981-85. During the Carter Administration, Moose served at the State Department as Deputy Undersecretary for Management and as Assistant Secretary for African Affairs. Prior to that, he had been on the staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 1969-76, and on the National Security Council staff from 1966-69. He had previously served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Foreign Service. A native Arkansan, Moose holds a B.A. from Hendrix College and a masters in internatinoal relations from Columbia University. Gordon Linton has represented Pennsylvania's 200th Legislative District in the State House of Representatives since 1982, serving as Vice Chairman of the Appropriations Committee, and Chairman of its Subcommittees on Public Transportation and Education. He was also Chairmnan of the Legislative Black Caucus. Before his election to the legislature, Linton was the Eastern Regional Administrator of the Pennsylvania Office of the Auditor General. He had previously been an administrator of child care programs in Philadelphia. He holds an associate degree from Pierce Junior College, a bachelors from Lincoln University, and a masters in education from Antioch University. Louise Stoll is Senior Vice President of O'Brien-Kreitzberg & Associates, Inc., a construction management firm which specializes in managing major public works projects across the country. Before joining that firm in 1985, she was Director of Budgets and Grants for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. She had previously been Manager of Government and Public Affairs of the San Francisco Clean Water Program, and a Trustee of the Berkeley, CA Unified School District. She holds a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Anne Lewis who served as a member of the Clinton/Gore Transition Health Reform Team, was Director of Great American Media, which managed paid advertisements for the Clinton/Gore campaign and the Democratic National Committee during the 1992 presidential campaign. She had previously been Legislative Director to Senator Harris Wofford and Chief of Staff to Senator Carl Levin. Lewis also worked on the Dukakis, Biden, and Mondale presidential campaigns, and was Senior Account Executive of the FMR Group.
